Hello, my name is Seiji Brown and I am in my 4th year of pursuing my degree in Arts, with a concentration in Anthropology and minor in Global Studies and Languages. Growing up, I have always been fascinated by the diversity of cultures, food and learning opportunities that can be found when undertaking intercultural experiences. This realization came to me when I took a leap of faith and decided to study abroad at the ripe age of 16 in the small country of Luxembourg in western Europe.

The exposure to a larger perspective of the world at such a young age gave me insights that I have been carrying with me throughout my life. I have now travelled to over 25 countries across 4 continents, undertaken 2 separate exchange programs, 1 field school and worked 3 separate jobs where the central focus is working with international students.

This lifestyle is certainly not for everyone, but I have enjoyed the chaos, adventure and learning that has been involved along the way. This life path has inspired me to pursue a master’s degree in international relations following my bachelor’s degree and hopefully have the opportunity to work abroad in the future.
